 Mecolam HPL laminates are produced as a result of fusion of natural fibers together with synthetic resins at high pressure and high temperatures and further solidification with application of decorative paper on the visible surface. Mecolam laminates are abrasion resistant and provide hygiene and easy cleaning in any environmental conditions. Mecolam HPL laminates of standard quality provide fire resistance class of Class B2in conformance with ONORM B3800 Part 1 and low smoke emission rate.
Mecolam HPL laminates are resistant to lots of chemical substances and are highly resistant to high temperatures as well. Laminates are suitable for application in the areas working with laboratory chemicals, thinners, disinfection materials, cosmetics and paints. Laminates of standard features are 1mm thick, and laminates with postforming features are 0,8mm thick.
Upon the request it is possible to produce laminates of fire resistance class B1 and quality class “F”.
